Getting arty & crafty for Heath Week 2024!
We do like our arts & crafts…especially during Heath Week! This year is no exception and we’re all set to entertain your little ones with more heathland-themed activities. We know they can’t resist colouring sheets, painting and cutting out.
We love to meet budding artists and feature them in our Heath Week gallery. We’ll have an art & crafts gazebo at almost all of our events, but here are a few highlights….
Butterfly-themed painting and badge making on Tuesday at Chobham Common – see Butterflies & Other Things with Wings.
Badge making, colouring sheets and make your own Nightjar crafts on Wednesday at Yateley Common – see Family Nature Day.
The Amphibian & Reptile Conservation team will be here on Thursday at Ockham Common. They’ll have a craft table where you can enter their Heathland Art Competition and take a look at last year’s winners. There’ll also be reptile & amphibian-themed colouring and coiled adders to colour and cut out – see Amphibian & Reptile Roadshow.
Make your own Nightjar nest on Saturday at Blackbushe Airport – see Secrets of the Common.
Colouring, make your own Nightjar nest and stone decorating on Saturday at Bramshill Plantation – see Forestry Fun!
Also on Saturday will be badge making at the Caesar’s Camp Treasure Hunt – see details here.
More reptile & amphibian-themed colouring and coiled adders to colour and cut out on Sunday at Yateley Common – see Amphibian & Reptile Roadshow.
Hope you all have a great time!
