A visit to Rooks Nest Wood
I so enjoyed the respite from the rain on Friday, and even some blue sky and sunshine. What a great day to get out exploring!
Have you visited Rooks Nest Wood in Wokingham yet? As its name suggests, it has lots of trees, which makes for a very relaxing meander. There are surfaced paths so you can avoid the January mud too! The perfect opportunity to practice your tree and shrub identification and, at this time of year, look for early signs of spring. There are catkins galore, so I’m guessing spring is on its way!
