Find the pedestrian-only entrance on Old Park Lane. Nearest postcode GU9 0AN. Grid reference SU 83201 48059. What3Words: compelled.crisps.nightfall. Also find pedestrian entrances from the Folly Heights housing development. There is no dedicated car park and it’s not possible to drive to the Old Park Lane entrance, as it’s on an unsurfaced bridleway.

What you’ll find there…

Only a short walk of around 1km, but pretty in good weather and there’s a lovely view. The slope faces mostly south-east and is managed as a wildflower meadow. Find mown paths, benches, a dog waste bin, a newly installed pond and stock fencing.

There are a few visitor parking (VP) bays within the housing development, but no dedicated parking. The pedestrian entrance off Old Park Lane may be handy for anyone who already walks in the area. You can pick up Old Park Lane opposite Farnham Castle.
