What you’ll find there…
This peaceful place is one of our favourite walks and we’ve watched it with interest over the last few years as it’s transformed into a wonderful nature reserve for wetland wildlife. As you can see from the photo gallery below, it’s lovely in any season.
Follow the surfaced paths that lead you around the meadows, ponds and boardwalks. And don’t forget to explore the fields of the extension that opened in the summer of 2022. The extension has its own car park on Hitches Lane and the woodland close to the car park has pretty Bluebells in spring. Enter the woodland at What3Words: contacts.skate.forms.
Note: Take care, paths in the wetlands area can be extremely wet, even flooded, after heavy rain.
