FREE FIRE ENGINES TO VIEW!
UPDATE 31st 11:30: We’re at Horsell Common near the Sand Pit with Surrey Fire & Rescue Service. We have Surrey FRS dogs and an off-road FIRE ENGINE!! This situation may change if they get called away.
Meet the folk that fight the fires!
Clamber into the cab of a fire engine or take a closer look at one of the off-road vehicles Surrey Fire & Rescue Service use locally (subject to availability). Come and meet the crews and see what new technology they’re using to fight and investigate wildfires.
FIND US: We’re near the Horsell Common Sand Pit. Follow the surfaced path from the Six Crossroads car park on Shores Road, nearest postcode GU21 4HN. What3Words: armed.traded.half. Limited free parking available. See map below.
FREE. Suitable for all, especially families with school age children. Drop-in anytime between 11am and 2pm. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.
