FREE FIRE ENGINES TO SEE!
Meet the folk that fight the fires!
UPDATE 25th 11am: So, so sorry, it looks like we won’t have a fire engine today because they’re all at the Hankley Common wildfire that started yesterday. You can still pick-up a copy of our Wildfire Activity Sheet and Mike and Michael are leading butterfly walks at Staple Hill as planned.
Clamber into the cab of a fire engine or take a closer look at one of the off-road vehicles Surrey Fire & Rescue Service use locally (subject to availability). Come and meet the crews and see what new technology they’re using to fight and investigate wildfires.
FIND US: This event will be held at Roundabout Car Park, Chobham Road, Chobham, Surrey Heath GU24 8TL. What3Words: pasta.wounds.gloves. Free parking available. See map below.
FREE. Suitable for all, especially families with school age children. Drop-in anytime between 11am and 2pm. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.
