Nature Day: Keephatch Meadows

Join us for a FREE NATURE DAY in collaboration with the Wokingham Borough Council Community Engagement Team at Keephatch Meadows.
- 12pm to 4pm: Free self-guided family nature rambles: Come and discover the meadows of this lovely green place. Mid-September is a great time to get out on a nature ramble and we’ll be encouraging you to use our free wildlife spotter sheets to help you explore. Come back and tell us what you’ve found!
- 12:15pm: Free guided walk with Warden Mike: Celebrate late summer nature and the amazing variety of native trees at Keephatch Meadows. Starting from the car park and will last approx. 45 minutes to an hour. Just turn up.
- 1pm to 3pm: Free Dr Bike Surgery. Book your place here.
- Free copies of our ‘Greenspace on your doorstep’ booklet to take away, for anyone who comes to say hello.
FIND US: Keephatch Meadows car park on Binfield Road, Hurst, Wokingham RG40 (if coming from Wokingham, go over the motorway and the entrance is soon after on the right hand side). What3Words: ///sits.bland.valley.
FREE. Suitable for all, especially families with school-age children. Drop-in anytime between 12noon and 4pm. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome. Some rough ground, so sturdy footwear (e.g. trainers) recommended.
Please bring plenty of water as there is no fresh water supply on site. Nearest toilets: Oakingham Belle, Oak Ave, Wokingham RG40 1LH.
