FREE NATURE EVENT!
Grazing is amazing! Livestock are a common sight on the heaths, so come to meet our wardens and hear about the benefits of grazing with animals such as cattle, sheep, goats and ponies.
Guided walks in collaboration with Surrey Wildlife Trust will leave Salt Box Road Car Park at 11am and 1pm. Short walks of approx. half an hour in small groups. No dogs on the guided walks please.
After each guided walk there’ll be a chance to listen to a story with Warden Jeremy. If you miss the walk, please do ask Jeremy to read a short story about Big Bill the Beltie Bull, from the books by Jayne Baldwin and Shalla Gray.
Or step into our arts & crafts gazebo and colour in a ‘Beltie’.
