FREE MOTH TRAPPING EVENT!
Celebrate National Moth Week! Are you fascinated by the nocturnal goings on of moths? Then come along to Heather Farm to meet some in the daytime!
On Friday evening we’ll be setting a light trap that will hopefully attract a wide variety of moths, and you’re invited to the Saturday morning unveiling! Many moths are as beautiful as butterflies, and many are rarely seen. The light trap gives us a chance to survey the moths and release them unharmed. Come and learn about a variety of moths and see what’s been lured to the light. Please be aware that nature doesn’t always cooperate, so we can’t guarantee what might turn up.
This is an indoor event.
